The displacement device (4) is especially for a co-driver's seat in the driver's cab of a commercial vehicle, whereby the seat is mounted on the floor via at least one four-bar linkage which is pivotable in a plane extending perpendicularly to the floor. The four-bar linkage is designed for a mounting of the seat in a low or high position. The low and high positions lie one behind the other in the pivoting direction, through which the seat can occupy a forward low position and a rear high position.
