Vertical double sieve former assembly for fibre web of paper or carton has rising section in contact with dewatering drum and secondary belt

In a paper making assembly a headbox discharges a fibre suspension between two (4, 5) rising sieve belts (12) that then make contact with a full-width dewatering belt (19). The dewatering belt (19) passes around a series of rollers (18) and also follows part of a dewatering drum (14) mantle, prior to separation from the fibre web (2). The dewatering drum is coupled to a suction assembly which operates at the limited peripheral interface between the twin-sieve with fibre suspension and the drum.
