摘要 The invention relates to a drive system for a forming press. Each pressure point of the ram can be controlled with a separate force and position regulation and the system permits a freely programmable size and sequence of the length of strokes, in addition to flexible speed and force profiles. The aim of the invention is to minimise energy consumption from the supply network, cycle-dependent load fluctuations and effects on the network, without resorting to additional energy accumulators. For forming presses comprising several pressure points, the invention aims to provide an option for controlling the tilt of the ram. To achieve this, the invention combines the advantages of hydraulic presses in terms of a freely programmable length of stroke, speed and force profiles with those of mechanical presses in terms of increased productivity, rigidity and reproducibility of the lower reversal point, dependent on the length of stroke. One or more electric drives that function as servo motors act on a crankshaft drive to permit a flexible utilisation of length of stroke-dependent and/or force-dependent displacements in addition to freely programmable length of stroke, speed and force profiles.
