The method involves calibrating a Hall sensor by preset magnetizing force (M 1) of magnets. A lower limit value (x 1) and upper limit value (x 2) are determined for selected Hall counts (z) of digitized magnetizing force. A lower target value (y 1) and an upper target value (y 2) are determined, where value (y 1) is greater than value (x 1), and value (y 2) is less than value (x 2) for the selected Hall-counts of the magnetizing force.
