The invention relates to the interactions of transcription modulators, including splice variants thereof associated with disease states, with genomic DNA sequences distributed throughout the genome. The invention provides methods for profiling transcription modulator interactions with target sequences throughout the genome, as well as for identifying interactions and target genes relevant to disease. The invention also provides methods for developing a database and models of transcriptional regulatory networks.
