Propulsion gas-free foamable preparation (I) based on aqueous/aqueous-alcoholic comprises: (a) one or more carbohydrates (preferably e.g. sugar esters of 12-18C optionally saturated or partially saturated fatty acids; polyoxyethylated, polyoxypropylated sugar esters of mid chain and highly chained fatty acids); and (b) co-surfactant of non-ionic ethoxylated/propoxylated surfactant (fatty alcohol, fatty acids and/or fatty acid esters). Propulsion gas-free foamable preparation (I) based on aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic comprises: (a) one or more carbohydrates, preferably sugar esters of 12-18C saturated, unsaturated, partially saturated fatty acids; polyoxyethylated, polyoxypropylated sugar esters of mid chain and long chain (8-18C) fatty acids and/or sugar ethers of 8-20C saturated, unsaturated, partially saturated fatty alcohol; polyoxyethylated, polyoxypropylated sugar ethers, preferably in a quantity of 0.1-20 wt.%; and (b) co-surfactant (0-20 (preferably 0.1-20) wt.%) selected from non-ionic ethoxylated/propoxylated surfactant, i.e. fatty alcohol, fatty acids and/or fatty acid esters where the chain length is 8-20C with a hydrophilic lipophilic balance (HLB) value of 9-20, and co-surfactant with an active substance character of quarternary ammonium compounds; quarternary polyoxyethylated, polyoxypropylated sugar ether and/or guanidine derivatives.
