A process for making Waterproof clothing from chemical fibre textile, which comprises the following steps sequentially: the step for ultrasonic bonding that permits at least two pieces of cut-sheet of chemical fibres to be jointed together at the seams by the function of ultrasonic; the step for attaching waterproof banding tape to the seams after the ultrasonic welding performed at the joint lines of said two pieces of cut-sheet; the step for flattening them seam by heat, to flatten the joint seams which have attached waterproof banding tape attached. The present invention omits auxiliary materials, such as threads, staples, adhesives, or clips; and also omits poisonous glue or solvent, The invent process needs not to preheat and restore, and also named not large energy to keep process temperature, and thereby is environment friendly. The cutting and the welding or sewing can carry out by ultrasonic independently, which will mot result in fuzzy edges. The present simple process cam be readily executed, and the resultant waterproof clothing has a desired waterproof result, that is, the clothing can keep imperviousness under water pressure of 3 pounds for at least 2 min.. |
