The mould (13) consists of first and second halves (41, 45) that can be moved relative to one another between open and closed positions, and a positioner (43) to set the alignment of the fan shaft. The second half of the mould (45) has a threaded tenon (71) that engages with the positioner to fix the latter so that the axis of rotation (X-X') of the fan is offset relative to its geometrical axis (Y-Y') by an amount sufficient to counteract any imbalance when the fan rotates. The tenon has a threaded base (75) that screws into a cavity (83) in the second half of the mould in line with the central geometrical axis, while its projecting end (77) is aligned with the fan's axis of rotation and has a chamfered tip (79). The mould also has an insert (15), supported by the positioner, that corresponds to the fan's central fixing zone.
