<p>In a turning drive apparatus (10) for turning a movable portion (3) of a model (1) by transmitting power from a drive source to the movable portion (3) through a gear train (11), a pair of gears (16, 17) included in the gear train (11) are coupled concentrically with each other through a common slip plate (18).
