The socket drawer (1) has a base (3) with two side walls (4) a rear wall (6) and front wall (5) which is built in steps into the base of the drawer. The front wall has a drawer case fixing (8) and a lower back springing area which adjust the useable height of the drawer. The drawer has rear corner posts (11) and front corner posts (12) which have a drawer base section and hold a support strut (7).
