A bottle-producing machine having molds (2) for forming a bottle and a cooling mechanism (6) for each of the molds. Each cooling mechanism (6) regulates the temperature of a mold (2) by applying cooling wind to the mold (2), and has a temperature sensor (3) for detecting the temperature of the mold (2) and a valve mechanism (8) for opening and closing a cooling wind path (7) guiding the cooling wind to the mold (2). Opening and closing operation of the valve mechanism (8) of each cooling mechanism (6) is controlled according to a switching signal from a temperature-controlling device (5). The temperature- controlling device (5) takes in, at predetermined time intervals and through a temperature display board (4), the temperature of the mold (2) detected by the temperature sensor (3) of each cooling mechanism (6) and stores the temperatures in a memory. Further, the temperature-controlling device (5) determines the amount of operation of the valve mechanism (8) by a PID control that uses the stored temperature data and a target temperature.
