A method for generating an individual station list of a receiver for radio, television and/or data signals which individual station list comprises a ranking of stations according to personal preferences and is used for correlating selecting means of a control unit of said receiver to stations is improved in that the number and duration of selections of tuned stations are detected and evaluated for the generation of the station list.
