Fluid quick connector with adapter

A fluid quick connector (20) includes concentrically joinable first and second endforms (22, 50). A housing (42) having an open end is carried on one endform (22) and latchingly receives an adapter (60) fixed on the other endform (50). An end of the adapter is biased into clamping engagement with one endform when the adapter engages the housing. In another aspect, the adapter includes two joinable sections which are fixedly mountable about one end of the first endform. A hollow insert is fixed within the end of the first endform and engages the end of the second endform in the adapter to seal the second endform to the adapter.
