According to said method, an unequivocal, body-related characteristic of the user (200) is detected on the vehicle (202). The detected characteristic and an identifying element associated with the vehicle (202) are transmitted from the vehicle (202) to a remote administration unit (214) where the detected signal is compared to a characteristic stored for the vehicle (202). If the detected characteristic and the stored characteristic correspond, the vehicle (202) is released for use. |
