Harvesting machine with a measuring device to determine the yield of harvested and/or processed crop

The harvester has a measuring device (34) with a measuring surface (38). The measuring surface interacts with harvested crop and is movably supported by a solid joint (42), where position of the measuring surface depends on the throughput of the harvested crop. An optical position acquisition device e.g. laser interferometer, is provided for acquisition of position of the measuring surface.
