Fastening of the panel instrument on the chassis

The vehicle has a dashboard received in a body shell (4) of the vehicle, and front posts (6) disposed on both sides of a windscreen (8) of the vehicle. The body shell includes a sill (10) extending above the windscreen. The dashboard is fixed to the posts by being positioned on the sill along one direction and on the posts along another direction, such that the position of the dashboard is adjusted with respect to the posts. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixing a dashboard to posts of a vehicle.
