A container device for attachment to the underside of a support 13, which may be a bathroom cabinet or shelf, comprises an elongate tray 1 slidably mounted at each end on vertical guide rods 10, each rod 10 having a head 11 engaged with a bracket 12 secured to the support 13, and the tray 1 being movable between an upper position in which the support 13 closes the tray top and a lower position in which access to the tray contents is permitted. Each rod 10 extends through a sleeve 6 secured to the tray 1 and has a pair of spaced notches 14, 14<1>. A catch 15 is biased by a spring 17 to a position of engagement in one of the notches 14, 14<1> to retain the tray 1 in its upper or lower position respectively. The catch 15 is released by manual depression of an integral push button 18. |
