[Also in Division G3] A rectifier equipment comprises a plurality of uncontrolled rectifier units 3 (Fig. 1) in parallel, the input to which is controlled by antiparallel controlled rectifiers 10 triggered by a pulse generator 11 in dependence upon the output voltage of the rectifier equipment. In each unit 3, a transformer, rectifier diodes, fuses and filters are mounted on a common baseplate which is provided with a hooked upper end 25 (illustrated Fig. 5, not shown) for ready attachment to a frame 16 (Fig. 3). Thus a plurality of the units 3 may be hooked on to the frame, and interconnected in parallel depending upon the load to be supplied, together with a control unit 2 and switching unit 1. A three-phase rectifier arrangement is also disclosed. An additional unit 4 consisting of additional filter and/or a rectifier for charging a local battery, may also be hooked on to the frame. |
