The present invention refers to a hollow harp manufactured out of stainless metals so that it can be played in the water. Since metals are resistant to plagues, the service life of the inventive harp is substantially longer than that of harps manufactured out of wood. The totally hollow design of the harp enables the sound to be better transmitted, its inner structure supporting high-tension musical strings for emitting special sounds. The aforementioned characteristics are useful for obtaining long vibrations and a metallic sound with regard to conventional harps; the main pieces of the harp are dismounted for facilitating the packaging and transportation thereof, the invention also including a stable tuning system. The innovations of the harp may be applied as a whole or individually on the manufacture of wooden harps in order to improve the structure, resistance and tuning system thereof.
