<p>A processing method in accessing CATV signal is provided, in which the data stream is descrambled and decrypted by a smart card cooperating with a set-top box. The smart card is provided with an EMM processing unit, an ECM processing unit, and a descrambling unit. When accessing, the method includes the following steps: A) there is a mutual authentication between the smart card and the set-top box; B) the smart card seeks out the EMM in accordance to the packet identifier in the program specification information from the decoding device, then decrypts the EMM and obtains the service key; C) the smart card decrypts the ECM with the service key, and obtains a control word; D) the smart card performs the descrambling process via the descrambler unit with the control word, then transmits the descrambled data stream to the set-top box; and E)the set-top box transmits the descrambled data stream to the video device for displaying. The method can easily realize the separation of the set-top box and the smart card, conforms to the corresponding CI standard of DVB, improves the security, and may apply in the pay cable television system widely.</p> |
