<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image correction processor capable of correcting images picked up by a plurality of cameras, without placing restrictions on the relative positions of the cameras. <P>SOLUTION: The image correction processor includes image correcting parts 20-24 for correcting image information; object extracting parts 25-29 for extracting pieces of object information that represent objects from the image information corrected; a database part 30 for storing the pieces of object information; an object collating part 31 for collating the pieces of object information extracted by the object extracting parts 25-29 with other pieces of object information stored in the database part 30; an object determining part 32 for determining whether or not the objects represented by the pieces of object information are the same according to the result of collation by the object collating part 31; and an image correction parameter updating part 33 for updating the image correction parameters of the image correcting parts 20-24 based on the pieces of object information determined to represent the same object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
