<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an unpleasantness due to a noise of a motor while the speed of rotation of the motor is accurately controlled in a massage machine using a small brushless DC motor with a high torque. <P>SOLUTION: The massage machine is equipped with a driving unit 30 which is vertically moved along a guiding rail 22 of a chair 20, a first motor 11 to vertically move the driving unit 30, massaging tool bases 3A and 3B which are driven to reciprocate in mutually opposite directions, a second motor 12 to drive the massaging tool bases to reciprocate in the mutually opposite directions, massaging tools 2 respectively held by the massaging tool bases 3A and 3B, a third motor 13 to drive the massaging tools 2 in a plane approximately orthogonal to a backrest, and a control circuit 25 to independently drive the individual motors, wherein the individual motors are the brushless DC motors and the control circuit 25 corrects a waveform of a driving signal to be applied to the winding of the brushless DC motor corresponding to a load on the brushless DC motor so that an electric current flowing in the winding of the brushless DC motor has an approximately sinusoidal waveform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
