<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual-band chip antenna module configured to improve radiation characteristics of the antenna module by increasing a current distribution in at least one of chip antenna modules with different bands while being affected from the remaining one. <P>SOLUTION: The dual-band chip antenna module mounted on a mainboard of a terminal for operating in different frequency bands comprises: first and second chip antenna modules which are connected with each other in series; a feed line for electrically connecting an RF connector and the first chip antenna module; and a radiation pattern formed extended from the second chip antenna module. Therefore, a gain is increased to over twice that of a dual-band chip antenna module configured in parallel, and the antenna module performance of the terminal is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
