<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method, the attractiveness of which is prevented from being diminished, which is excellent in curling characteristics of recorded matter, which enhances the handleability of the recorded matter and which makes an image recorded on a water-absorbing recording medium by using a water-base ink, and an inkjet printer for use in the inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording method, the image is recorded by ejecting the ink, containing water and a coloring agent, onto a recording medium from a recording head. In the recording medium, a coloring material fixing layer is provided on ordinary paper or a paper substrate which is equipped with solvent absorbing power. In the inkjet recording head, the number of nozzles is 5,000 or more; a driving frequency is 20 kHz or more; the amount of each ink droplet ejected from the inkjet recording head is 2.5 pL or less; and the gross mass of water and a water-soluble organic solvent component with a plurality of hydrogen-associative parts in an image area, where the adhesion amount of the ink is maximized, is in the range of 0.5-15 g/m<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
