<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver supply unit allowing easy installation of a printer driver for a printer desired for use and automatic uninstallation if the driver becomes unnecessary for supplying a necessary printer driver when necessary. <P>SOLUTION: This printer driver supply unit is provided with a common printer driver common for a plurality of printers and a model-dependent printer driver specific to a predetermined printer. The common printer driver is installed in a personal computer in initial connection with the personal computer.
