<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travelling support control method for a small electric vehicle, by which a travelling support control is scrupulously performed in accordance with a state of an obstacle. <P>SOLUTION: When the speed of an object Von has a relationship: -1.0 km/h<Von<1.0 km/h (YES in a step S5), a vehicle 1 is controlled by a normal stop mode for controlling the speed of the vehicle 1 in response to the distance of the object Ln and stopping the vehicle 1 when the distance reaches a target stop distance (step S6). When the speed of the object Von has a relationship: 1.0 km/h≤Von (YES in a step S7), the vehicle 1 is controlled by a tracking mode for controlling the speed of the vehicle 1 to track the object, while keeping a fixed tracking interval relative to the object (step S8). When the speed of the object Von has a relationship: Von≤-1.0 km/h, the vehicle 1 is controlled by an opposing mode for instantaneously stopping the vehicle 1 to evade a collision with the approaching object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
