<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide measurement technology for calorie consumption, particularly a measuring device for the calorie consumption and a method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The measuring device for the calorie consumption includes: a pulse input part for detecting a first heart rate of a user at a first point of time during an exercise time and detecting a second heart rate of the user at a second point of time during the exercise time; and a controller for calculating the calorie consumption using the detected first heart rate, the second heart rate, the heart rate of the user when at rest, and at least one of age, weight, stature and adipo-percentage.
