<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the pseudo sensation of growing a character present inside a screen of a cellular phone or the like while having communication. <P>SOLUTION: In a growing system 1, when question mail generated in a server 2 is transmitted to the cellular phones 3a and 3b and the answer information is received in the server 2, in the server 2, the change condition of a character parameter corresponding to an answer is read from a question file, the character parameter stored in a baby registration file is changed according to the change condition and it is updated and stored. The processing is repeated at every prescribed interval of time and the character parameter is changed and updated.
