PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding collar for a sheet winding shaft narrow in width, extremely strong and simple in constitution while holding a core concentrically in a reliable manner. SOLUTION: The winding collar for the sheet winding shaft is provided with an annular member 10 rotatably supported by a center shaft 2 in a penetrating manner and frictionally engaged with a friction member 3; inclined grooves 14 disposed in a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction of the outer periphery of the annular member 10; a holding ring 12 concentrically and rotatably mounted on the annular member 10; radial holding holes 15 disposed in the holding ring 12 so as to correspond to the respective inclined grooves 14; cutout parts 16 each formed at the corner of the end face and outer periphery of the annular member 10 on the opposite side to a shallow part to face a deep part of each inclined groove 14; rotation bodies 11 held in the holding holes 15 through the cutout parts 16 to fix the core C fitted to the outer periphery of the holding ring 15, to the annular member; and rotation stoppers 13 for limiting the rotatable range of the holding wheel 12 to the annular member 10 so that the holding holes 15 do not move onto the cutout parts 16.
