PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording/reproducing apparatus and an optical disk medium which can read AVDP data favorably even if a defect is caused on a disk by preventing AVDP recording positions from being made adjacent to each other. SOLUTION: The optical disk recording apparatus is characterized in that information on positional information of a file system is recorded at a position near the outermost circumference of a boarder area of a WO type optical disk with two or more recording layers.
