PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an cover opening/closing mechanism capable of preventing the erroneous opening of a cover member without deteriorating button operability by a simple structure, and an optical disk device using the cover opening/closing mechanism. SOLUTION: The cover opening/closing mechanism 2 is provided with a button 3, a sliding member 4, a first elastic member 5 for elastically supporting the button 3, and a second elastic member 6 for elastically supporting the sliding member 4. The button 3 is provided with a main body part 31, and a leg 32 projected vertically from the main body part 31. Two legs 32 are formed, and bent parts 34 whose ends opposite the main body part 31 are bent are formed in the legs 32.
