PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard disk drive device which can suppress a rise in temperature inside the device without newly preparing a fan motor etc. in the hard disk drive device 3 in which a disk 7 rotary driven by a spindle motor 8 and a head 11 which performs write/read of data to/from the disk 7 are housed in a sealed state inside of a device main part 4. SOLUTION: The hard disk drive device is constituted so that a fan 18 is attached to a protrusion made by extending a part of a member (spindle) 9 being rotated by the spindle motor 8 to outside of the device main part 4. When rotary driving the disk 7, the fan 18 rotates integrally with the disk 7 by the spindle motor 8, and the whole device is cooled by its own torque. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
