PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a danger alarm system capable of detecting an object passing behind a vehicle and notifying another vehicle about the existence of danger, thereby further securing safety. SOLUTION: A first danger alarm device 9 mounted on a first vehicle 1 monitors the presence/absence of an object P passing behind a vehicle by processing the image of a video photographed by a camera 11. At the time of detecting an object P passing behind the vehicle, the first danger alarm device 9 decides the presence/absence of danger based on the detection result, and transmits an alarm signal through a notification part to a surrounding vehicle. The alarm signal includes the video of the object P photographed by the camera 11 and information showing the location and direction of the first vehicle 1. A second danger alarm device 9 mounted on a second vehicle 2 receives the alarm signal, and decides whether or not its own vehicle is located on the oncoming lane of a road going to the transmission origin vehicle, and when its own vehicle is located on the oncoming lane of the road going to the transmission origin vehicle, the second danger alarm device 9 notifies a driver of warning by a voice or video.
