PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image experience support system capable of supporting various kinds of simulated experiences by making an experiencing person visually recognize an image with the experiencing person's eye position led to a prescribed position. SOLUTION: The image experience support system comprises: a screen 4 having a projection surface made of a retroreflective material; an image generation processing section 5 for acquiring image data for generating image light to be projected on the screen 4; a projector 3 for projecting image light to be projected on the screen 4 by using the image data from the image generation processing section 5; and an image light guiding device 1 which transforms the projecting area of the image light projected by the projector 3 so that a previously set image experiencing area enabling the experiencing person to visually recognize the image superposes the experience person's field of view with regard to the screen 4 when the experience person's eye position exists. Thus, the projection light on the projection surface of the screen 4 constituted of the retroreflective material is reflected into a restricted image experiencing area, and the experiencing person can visually recognize an clear image only in the image experiencing area.
