PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain-gutter mounting member for a snow-covered land, which prevents the influence of the accumulation of snow by letting the rain gutter 8 inside so that the rain gutter 8 cannot be a hindrance during the accumulation of the snow, which enables the snow to be scraped off as heretofore, which makes rainwater surely discharged from a roof by moving the rain gutter 8 to the outside after the disappearance of the snow, which facilitates the operation of mounting it, and which facilitates the movement of the rain gutter 8. SOLUTION: This rain-gutter mounting member comprises at least a long mounting plate 1 for being mounted on a fascia board 10, a retainer plate supporting part 2 which is fixed to both ends of the mounting plate 1 and an intermediate part between both ends, a gutter supporting plate 8, one end of which is fixed to the supporting part 2 and which is used for movably supporting the rain gutter 8, and a covering plate 6, one end of which is attached to an upper part of the mounting plate 1 and the other end of which is long enough to reach an opening of the rain gutter 8. In the rain-gutter mounting member, many mounting fittings, which comprise short mounting parts and retainer plate fixing parts formed in such a shape as to be perpendicular to or flush with and integral with the short mounting parts, can also be provided in place of the mounting plate 1 and the supporting plate 2.
