PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake hydraulic pressure controlling actuator capable of improving responsiveness in pressurizing by a pump. SOLUTION: Pressure controlling reservoirs 20, 40 are disposed at an upper position of a housing 51, and pumps 19, 39 are disposed under the pressure controlling reserviors 20, 40. The pressure controlling reserviors 20, 40 are disposed at the upper position in the housing 51, thereby obtaining an installing space at the lower position in the housing 51. The pumps 19, 39 are disposed in the space, thereby disposing the pumps 19, 39 at the lower position in the housing 51 as low as possible. Therefore, a difference (drop) of water head height between an M/C 13 and the pumps 19, 39 becomes large, and by using the difference of the water head height, the responsiveness in pressurizing by the pumps 19, 39 can be improved.
