<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a card capable of arranging an energizing member and an engaging piece engaging with a concave part of the card without interference even in a case of setting of a length of the energizing member energizing a slide member relatively long. <P>SOLUTION: The connector for the card has an energizing member 9 energizing a sliding member 8 toward a card ejection direction, an engaging piece 16 engaging with a concave part 6b of the card 6, and a sliding member 8 locking mechanism composed of a cam groove 13 and an engaging member 15. The sliding member 8 has a protrusion part 11 protruding in an up and down direction of a card housing part 1a, and a protrusion part housing part 3 housing the protrusion part 11 of the sliding member 8 is formed on a housing 1. The cam groove 13 is formed on an upper face of the protrusion part 11, and the engaging piece 16 is mounted on the sliding member 8 at the upper face side of the cam groove.
