<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive exhaust gas filter having a porosity and a gas permeability relating to soot collection imparted as designed and stable in quality and shape. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas filter is installed inside a tubular case 4, and traps particulate matter contained in the exhaust gas (a).
