PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a cosmetic which stably maintains ascorbic acid, uses glycerol as a solvent to enhance the content of the ascorbic acid, and gives an excellent sense of use. SOLUTION: The cosmetic comprises a glycerol/1,3-butylene glycol mixture solution containing ascorbic acid dissolved therein.
