PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating work tool in which clogging of a working part surface is reduced and grinding work duration is increased. SOLUTION: The rotating work tool is provided with a bar-shaped shank part 3 attachable to and detachable from the rotary shaft of a handpiece for working and a rotating work part 5 integrally provided on one end part of the shank part 3. The rotating work part 5 is provided with a recessed groove 6 in a direction crossing the rotating direction of the outer circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface of the rotating work part 5 is formed with a grinding action part 8a where granular projections are dispersed.
