PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for linking a slide show function mounted on an MFP to various functions of the MFP, so as to enhance operability. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a read means for sequentially reading a plurality of image data from a storage medium; a display control means for sequentially displaying the image data read from the read means on a display means; a processing setting means for setting an operation section to apply prescribed processing to the image data displayed on the display means; an image registration means for registering the image data being displayed and the prescribed processing set by the processing setting means in cross-reference with each other; a searching means for searching the image data registered by the image registration means when the sequential display of the image data by the display control means is finished; and a control means for controlling the image data searched by the searching means to be subjected to the prescribed processing.
