PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic thin film transistor which simplifies a process by forming a drain electrode from a pixel electrode substance and an organic electroluminescent display provided with the same. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent display is provided with a substrate 200 having a light emitting region and a non-light emitting region; the organic thin film transistor which is disposed in the non-light emitting region of the substrate 200 and has a source electrode 263, the drain electrode 265, and an organic semiconductor layer 270 which are superposed on both sides of gate electrodes 261; and an organic light emitting device having a lower electrode 280, an organic film layer 290, and an upper electrode 295. One electrode 265 out of the source electrode 263 and the drain electrode 265 of the organic thin film transistors is extended and formed up to the light emitting region, the layer 270 out of one electrode 265 is provided with an opening 275 which exposes a part formed in the light emitting region, and the part exposed by the opening 275 of the layer 270 out of one electrode 265 functions as the electrode 280 of the organic light emitting device.
