摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing apparatus of granular crystals that can manufacture high-quality granular crystals inexpensively with improved mass production properties, and to provide a photoelectric conversion device that is manufactured by using granular silicon crystals manufactured by the manufacturing apparatus and has improved conversion efficiency characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: When a stand plate for placing a number of particles made of a crystal material is introduced into a heating oven, the particles are heated for increasing temperature and melting, and then temperature is decreased for hardening as a granular crystal, the temperature gradient of temperature decrease from the temperature at which a number of melted particles start hardening to the temperature at which all the particles are hardened is made smaller than that of temperature decrease before and after it, thus obtaining a granular crystal having improved crystallinity. By manufacturing the photoelectric conversion device by using the granular silicon crystal manufactured by the manufacturing method of the granular crystal; the low-cost, highly efficient photoelectric conversion device can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
