PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost of an engine generator, by reducing the number of part items of the engine generator, by imparting an air cleaner mechanism to a part of a soundproof case. SOLUTION: An engine generator assembly 23 is composed of a generator rotatingly driven by a crankcase 25 and a crankshaft 24, and is stored in the soudproof case 10, and an inspection cover 21 for constituting a part of this case is detachably installed in the soundproof case 10. A cleaner body 51 for storing a filter element 52 is arranged on an inner surface of the inspection cover 21, and a cleaner cover 53 is detachably installed in this cleaner body 51. An air cleaner 54 is assembled by installing the cleaner cover 53 on the cleaner body 51 by installing the inspection cover 21 on a case body 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
