PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction phenomenon and compression failure of a vane caused in starting, in a vane rotary compressor. SOLUTION: An oil feeding groove 19 formed in at least one of a front side plate 3 and a rear side plate 4 and supplying lubricating oil introduced from an oil storage part under a high pressure case 5 to a vane back pressure chamber 10, and a high pressure supply passage 11 for supplying a high pressure gaseous fluid in a cylinder 2 to the vane back pressure chamber 10 just after the vane 9 passes through an axial seal point 2d, are separated so that these do not communicate via the vane back pressure chamber 10. Thus, the high pressure gaseous fluid in the cylinder is supplied to the vane back pressure chamber 10 every time when passing through the axial seal point 2d in any state of a pressure difference between the high pressure side and the low pressure side in starting, and the vane 9 to be expanded in a suction stroke is surely pressurized and pushed out, and a vane chattering phenomenon and compression failure by vane projection failure can be prevented. Since the high pressure gaseous fluid is not mixed in the oil feeding groove, efficiency reduction in the compressor can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
