PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit of a flush valve, which has an operation means enabling a manual operation for ejecting water to be easily performed when a constitution of automatization cannot be used as in the case of a failure in an electromagnetic valve, a power failure, etc., which can be easily handled even by a child, an aged person, etc., and which can be operated in an automatized manner. SOLUTION: A piston valve 21 is attached to a cylinder 2 so as to be ascendable/descendable with respect to a valve seat 22; an upper part of the cylinder 2 is covered with a base 1 so as to constitute a pressure chamber 23; a stop cock 3 is mounted in a mounting hole 28 on a downstream side, so that piping can be installed with a joint pipe 4 of the base 1 by using a pipeline 5. The electromagnetic valve 6 and a mechanical valve 10 are arranged on the base 1 in addition to the joint pipe 4; two joint pipes 7, which are opened on the side of the pressure chamber 23, are assembled; and these pipes are arranged by using a flexible pipe 11, so as to form two juxtaposed pipelines. The first pipeline for connecting the pressure chamber 23 and the stop cock 3 together controls drainage by using the electromagnetic valve 6 which is positioned midway through the first pipeline, and enables the performance of the automatized operation of water ejection. The second pipeline controls drainage by using the mechanical valve 10 midway through the second pipeline, and enables the water to be ejected by the manual operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
