PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating that improves the storage stability of a pigment dispersion paste for an electrodeposition coating and can deal with the energy saving and the facility saving of a coating facility of an electrodeposition coating. SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion paste for an electrodeposition coating comprises a resin for pigment dispersion, a pigment and 0.1-25 parts wt. of a cellulose complex based on 100 parts wt. of the total of solid content of the resin for pigment dispersion and the pigment. The electrodeposition coating comprises a base resin, a curing agent and 0.1-20 parts wt. of a cellulose complex based on 100 parts wt. of the total of solid content of the base resin and the curing agent.
