<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter which is excellent in operability, biocompatibility, chemical resistance, and contrast property, including a transparent part so as to confirm liquid passing through an inner part. <P>SOLUTION: A tubular catheter body 11 is obtained by a long sized transparent part 13 and contrast line parts 14a, 14b which are formed of a material containing barium sulfate and are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the transparent part 13. The inner part of the catheter body 11 is formed to be an inner cavity to pass the liquid, so as to constitute the catheter 10. A transparent material for constituting the transparent part 13 is obtained with aromatic polyurethane as a main component. A material for constituting the contrast line parts 14a, 14b is made to be the mixture of aliphatic polyurethane with barium sulfate.
