<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for a writing utensil, prevented from precipitation of a coloring agent such as titanium oxide having a heavy specific gravity, having decorative effects (aesthetic effects) in appearance of an ink-storing body, and suitable for a felt-tipped marker, a ballpoint pen, a cover-up pen or the like; and to provide the writing utensil using the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for the writing utensil contains fine capsules including a colored liquid and capable of being destroyed, and a viscous liquid. The writing utensil has a structure wherein the ink composition for the writing utensil is stored in the ink-storing body in which the fine capsules are present without being destroyed, and when writing, the ink flows out from the pen point after the fine capsules have been destroyed at the tip part of the writing utensil, or while the capsules are being destroyed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
