<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the output of an internal combustion engine while suppressing the excessive accumulation of PM on a DPF. <P>SOLUTION: When the outlet side temperature of the DPF 21 detected by a sensor 23b reaches a temperature allowing the removal of PM by combustion after the minimum value of a basic fuel injection amount Q<SB>B</SB>and the fuel injection amount Q<SB>SMOKE</SB>by the control of smoke concentration is set to an injection amount Q<SB>0</SB>based on a conventional control considering the smoke concentration, basically, a fuel increasing correction according to the temperature is performed for the injection amount Q<SB>0</SB>to set it to an injection amount Q<SB>F</SB>. Secondarily, when the inlet temperature of the DPF 21 detected by the sensor 23a is low, even if the outlet temperature is high, the overall DPF 21 cannot be said to be brought into a filter state suitable for removing PM by combustion. As a result, the fuel increasing correction performed according to the outlet temperature is canceled, and the injection amount Q<SB>0</SB>is given as the injection amount Q<SB>F</SB>after the correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
